These images were made under very poor lighting conditions with my Nikon D70 and the Maksutov 1000mm at 1600ISO.

These are NOT of fine art quality, but I thought it would be nice to show them anyway.

I had installed myself in the garden to try and shoot an image of the Icterine warbler.

 Instead, rain started hammering on my head, and I had to find a quick shelter.

Suddenly, just as I was thinking about quitting this session, this rascal appeared...

Unfortunately,

I missed the funniest part, she slipped on the metal slide, you still can see it, by the wrinkled feathers
